Important Information

Safeguarding

  • Commitment to protecting all children at all times throughout their attendance at the summer school
  • All staff are DBS checked and have attended a safeguarding course
  • Code of conduct for staff
  • There is a first aider present on site
  • A daily safety inspection of the site and all equipment

Conduct

  1. Passport To Leisure is designed to provide fun and sport in a safe environment. If a child's behaviour prevents this, it will not be tolerated.
  2. Any undesirable behaviour such as uncooperative, disruptive or bullying will be dealt with.
  3. Children displaying such undesirable behaviour may be excluded from activities and the respective responsible adult will be contacted immediately.
  4. No refund will be given for the day of exclusion or subsequent days.

Personal Essentials

  1. Water bottle
  2. Sun cream
  3. Cap
  4. Waterproof jacket
  5. Packed lunch
  6. Appropriate foot wear

Drop Off and Collection

  1. On arrival at Barn Elms all children must sign the correct group registration sheet. Further registers will then be taken before starting each activity.
  2. All late arrivals must sign in at reception before joining their group.
  3. In Crafty Sport the responsible adult must sign the register at Crafty Sport reception each morning and clarify the responsible adult collecting at the end of each day.
  4. If this arrangement changes PTL must be contacted with details of new arrangements a photo ID must be brought.
  5. For children aged 10 and under at PTL on arrival must clarify the responsible adult collecting each day. If this arrangement changes the procedure in point 4 must be followed.

First Aid

  1. There is a qualified First Aider in attendance throughout the camp.
  2. All medications must be handed to the First Aider on arrival.
  3. All medications must be clearly labelled.
